As you write, consciously use both active and passive voice. Aim for at least half of your sentences to be in active voice, highlighting your role and decisions in the project. Use passive voice where appropriate, particularly when discussing the reactions of the audience or the reception of the design. After writing, identify which sentences are active and which are passive, and consider how this impacts the tone and effectiveness of your review.
